When the weather gets hot, mommy-to-be Jessica Alba tackles the heat with the ammo in her makeup bag. She always keeps five essentials on her — tinted moisturizer, concealer, illuminator, mascara and lip gloss — and relies on simple steps in her beauty routine to keep her skin glowing. “My mother always told me to wash my face every night, wear sunscreen during the day and drink plenty of water,” she tells “It’s simple but I like to think that it’s work for me.” Another trick that works? Using lipstick — but not just on the lips! “Before there was cream blush, my grandmother would apply lipstick on her lips, cheeks and eyes,” the Revlon brand ambassador shares. “I still do that today.” And when she’s not moisturizing with her favorite skin-hydrating products — La Mer and Jurlique to name a few — she’s protecting her skin from harmful rays with her daughter’s sunblock. “I like sunscreen that’s not too heavy so I use my daughter’s California Baby,” she reveals.
