Does Emma Watson ever sleep? She’s modeled for Burberry, collaborated with People Tree, started work for Lancome — and don’t forget her day job acting in the Harry Potter movies! Recently, she announced she was designing a small collection for Alberta Ferretti, called Pure Threads, and today, the line goes on sale exclusively at albertaferretti.com. It consists of just five pieces: two dresses ($1010-$1080), a shirt ($670), a long skirt ($880) and a pair of denim shorts ($340), all enriched with lace embroideries and made with organic fabrics such as cotton poplin, cotton muslin and hemp. According to Ferretti, Watson really made the line her own. “Emma was very much involved in the design process, and was very particular in how she wanted the collection to look and feel,” she tells PEOPLE. “Emma has a great freshness about her and is very intelligent, and this made it a pleasure to work with her.” Though a second collaboration isn’t planned (yet!), Ferretti says she’s happy to work with more rising stars. “I am always keen to seek new talent,” she shares. “The young are the future and I am always inspired by new ideas.” Tell us: Will you buy a piece from Watson’s line?Kate Hogan

I absolutely LOVE Emma and think she’s an absolute role model to young teenage girls. I think the collection looks fantastic, but I just wish I could afford it!! :/ I’d definitely buy the shorts if they were in my price range!!

love emma watson, cute actress, however this stuff – no girl fan of hers could afford. for shame.

plus i don’t understand how designers can justify these prices given what goes around the world, how any people can a $1,000 for a dress feed in Afghanistan or other poor places of the world. does anyone give a damn in the fashion industry. i understand wanting to design a collection, but look at who your fans are, young boys and girls, not rich enough to buy from this. it’s almost an insult. just because a person has become famous doesn’t mean they have automatically earned the right to design collectons for a mature audience, don’t get it.

i don’t know about emma watson being a role model, since shacking up with a 26 year old at 18 isn’t really ideal, but i don’t think the clothes featured are even worth that much. i remember i had shorts like that i got from limited too when i was 13 and they looked a lot better than that because they had beautiful embroidery on it, surprisingly, and it only cost 30 bucks. really i would spend my money on decent clothes not clothes for middle school kids.
