If Ashley Greene had gone to our high school, she totally would’ve been prom queen. So it makes sense that the Twilight beauty is returning for a third year as the official spokesperson of, a national campaign that encourages girls around the country to donate gently used special occasion dresses to other teens in need. “In high school, I had to work several jobs to save enough to buy a prom dress,” Greene said in a statement. “It was so worth it: I had a blast at prom! Every girl should have the chance to have that experience.” The actress has given several of her red carpet gowns to the cause, and this year, is donating the white Lela Rose dress she wore to the Chrysalis Butterfly Ball. In addition to her contributions, Greene is hosting a live Twitterview for fans on Wednesday, March 23, from 4:30-4:45 p.m. on Girls can Tweet questions about dressing for prom, doing makeup and hair, handling date and friend dilemmas, and Greene will write back in real time. That is so nice & sweet of Ashley Greene to do! Even though she had to work hard to get her Prom Dress, I’m glad she was able to go and I agree with her about everything, etc.

I love to see stars take the time and make these girls feel special. For one day they get to feel like a Princess.

I love that Ashley Greene is doing this! I think Donate My Dress is a fantastic organization. I love that it gives girls who can’t afford to buy a Prom dress the chance to feel special. They deserve it. :)

Well, i personally don’t like Ashley because she was dating my favorite Jonas Brother, but, i really like that even celebrities take out their time to help girls find their dream Prom dress :) even though i’m not in high school yet, i understand how prom means everything to a girl. And Ashley helped many girls to find the perfect dress. P.S. I love the jonas brothers!!

That is so nice and good of her to make such an effort. I know there are many girls who would love the experience of going to their prom in a beautiful dress.
The only thing I questioned a little is her 15 minute tweet session. It just struck me as odd that she would open it up like that, but only for 15 minutes.

Yes, it’s truly nice to see such effort taken by our Hollywood stars to make sure girls have prom dresses. This is a much better cause than, say, helping feed the starving kids in our cities. Oh, and how about helping with education so more kids actually stay in school long enough to make it to prom in the first place. Just a thought. It’s all about priorities I guess.

Thank God Demi Lovato donate 1 million $ to Japan so Ashley can concentrate on prom dresses that cant be found at consigment stores
