Looks like someone isn’t cheating on her diet! Jennifer Hudson, who recently revealed that she’s lost an additional 20 lbs. since April, appeared even more svelte at the seventh annual Black Ball for her Keep a Child Alive foundation in New York on Thursday. The Weight Watchers spokesperson, dressed in a stunning strapless black gown, clearly had a blast on the red carpet as she flaunted her figure for the photographers. Earlier this month, Hudson, 29, said she’s still getting used to her new look. “I go into the store and they try to put me in 4s and 6s and I’m like [she looks over both shoulders] ‘Who are you trying to talk to?’” says the former size 16 star.

resa, you don’t need money for trainers etc., i have been going to the gym since January and lost 44lbs. i still eat normal foods and i don’t consider it “cheating” to endulge every once in awhile, i work hard and it’s more about calories in vs. calories out (i.e. burned). And actually i did work with a trainer a few times, most gyms offer specials, i got to work with one 3 times for an hour for $99. ($33 a session, cheaper than most charge hourly). by doing this, i was able to write down exercises and notes and the trainer wasn’t all about getting me to commit to more sessions. another route is talking to others that work out at the gym. most people, even guys are excited to share the knowledge of getting fit since they are proud of their accomplishments. i have done weight watchers and jenny craig, and to me personally it is a fast fix. weight watchers you can actually eat normal food too, you just have to count points. tedious but what i figured out, it really just ends up teaching you portion control and how to make better choices!! :-)

Weight Watchers food is “real food”. Yes they do make frozen products but I am sure Jennifer isn’t living on them. Jenny Craig will try to keep you eating their food because that’s how they make money. I’ve lost over 65 pounds on WW. I eat whatever I like, just less of it. And I am satisfied. WW is about eating properly.

well said nadine! i also don’t like all the sodium etc in the meals and snacks. if i want a cookie, i want a “real” cookie! ;-) i know WW sometimes is about accountability, showing up to meetings and weighing in makes you want work hard!don’t want to show up and weigh more, lol..that would suck! good job on that 65!!

Weight watchers doesn’t supple any special food. You eat whatever you want and count it as points. Nothing is off limits!

Damn Resa… jealous much??? She looks great and I don’t care how she lost it! Maybe you should quit eat bon-bons and get up and get moving!

Annette get your facts straight on

Annette, Weight watchers has various already packaged food but Weight Watchers is about a lifestyle change and learning to cook better food and have portion control.

You shouldn’t be eating only the prepackaged foods, you should be learning to make healther foods on your own too.

Please at least know a little something about the program before you complain about it. People like you are the reason some veer away from a program that really works.

JH is a phony on

She must have a new movie or something coming up, that’s the only time she really plugs Weight Watchers. She’s even commented about that and backtracked in an interview a few months ago.

To Annette…weight watchers AND Jenny Craig work IF the clients follow what they are taught. As for Sara Rue having to eat jenny Craig food all the time…that is untrue. Once a client reaches mid-point, their advisor teaches them how to cook for themselves by weaning them off of the food two days at a time until they are preparing their own foods. Been there done that and have kept off my weight for 10 years because I listened and learned.

She looks amazing… no ifs, buts or anything that takes away from how far she has come! Keep up the great work… Haters will be haters…

I had to write to say that on the Weight Watchers plan you NEVER have to eat a WW food product if you choose not to. Unlike Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem etc., you only eat the foods you wish to eat.
