Looks like someone isn’t cheating on her diet! Jennifer Hudson, who recently revealed that she’s lost an additional 20 lbs. since April, appeared even more svelte at the seventh annual Black Ball for her Keep a Child Alive foundation in New York on Thursday. The Weight Watchers spokesperson, dressed in a stunning strapless black gown, clearly had a blast on the red carpet as she flaunted her figure for the photographers. Earlier this month, Hudson, 29, said she’s still getting used to her new look. “I go into the store and they try to put me in 4s and 6s and Iā€™m like [she looks over both shoulders] ‘Who are you trying to talk to?ā€™ā€ says the former size 16 star.

She looks good, but the makeup, dress and shoes kinda suck. What’s with the lipstick? And her pose, makes her legs look awkward. I wish her the best tho.

Annette – I’ve been doing Weight Watchers since May and I have lost 20lbs. I don’t have a trainer or chef. The program is amazing and you can eat whatever you want. Before you knock it, you should try it. Jennifer Hudson looks amazing!

I firmly believe that weight watchers is the best way to lose weight. It’s all about eating healthy foods, portion control and exercise while allowing yourself to have fun every once in awhile too. The weight doesn’t come off fast, but it does come off. Go Jennifer!

Annette- WW is about counting points, calories, portion control, eating healthy and exercising. You don’t have to eat WW food products to lose on their program. You should look into it before you comment. Jennifer looks great and gave me the motivation to join. I’m down 22 lbs since July-only 33 to go reach my goal!

There is no “Weight Watchers food.” She can eat anything she wants within reason as long as she sticks to her daily points. Anybody can do Weight Watchers. You don’t have to be rich and have a personal trainer!

TO ANNETTE AND OTHER NAYSAYERS: On WW, you eat real, ordinary food, nothing prepackaged. You can buy their brand of breads, treats, yogurt, etc. in the grocery store, but you do NOT have to eat only WW to lose on the program. It’s sensible and easy. I lost 22 lbs. on WW (post-40 fat), and have maintained the loss for a long time. I eat normal food, exercise moderately, and still get plenty of chocolate in my diet! WW WORKS!

Gosh, Weight Watchers is misunderstood. You can’t get tired of WW food, you don’t eat only WW products, you don’t have to eat any WW products — not one crumb! I’ve lost 32 pounds since last winter making all my own delicious meals and on occasion eating out or at friends’. It’s all about portion control, exercise and points (a formula that assigns points based on calories, fat and fiber). It’s a lifestyle change, not a diet. Educate yourself! It’s fine if something else suits you, but don’t knock WW with falsehoods!

I hate to pile on – however, to the people who keep talking about Weight Watchers and their food, you could not be more uninformed. The Weight Watchers plan is with all “real food”. It IS NOT like Jenny Craig and you are not required to purchase or eat any WW products. Yes, Weight Watchers does endorse some foods and now makes some foods under their name (you will see them on the shelves at your regular grocery store) such as breads, ice cream, yogurt, etc. They would be ridiculous not to sell some of their own foods. I lost a significant amount of weight with WW and with the exception of the ice creams which are delicious I have never purchased the WW foods as they are not necessary. Also, Annette, congrats on going from a size 10 to a 6 – so you must know how difficult it would be to go from a 16 to a 4 or 6 size. There really isn’t a need for you to try to find some flaw with her weight loss program to make yourself feel better. Everyone should do whatever works for them without judgement.

Good job on

I think she looks great. More than just losing weight for appearance sake, it’s such a benefit to one’s health to lose extra weight.

I love weight watchers, it makes sense. It teaches you to eat out, how to eat healthy at home, and yes you can use their food, but plenty of options without their food. Emphasis on healthy food options and exercise. Jenny Craig seems unrealistic, because its not healthy to eat mac and cheese, and brownies from jenny craig and then go back to real life and eat those same foods and expect to be the same size.
