If there’s one thing Lea Michele has learned from playing Glee‘s geek-chic misfit Rachel Berry, it’s that beauty comes from within. Starring on the cover of British Marie Claire in its November issue, the actress says the show has taught her to embrace her looks, flaws and all. “Glee has shown me that I am beautiful, no matter what I look like, what my weight is,” she says in the candid interview. Growing up in New Jersey, the 24-year-old admits she was never considered the most attractive girl at school, but the show has changed her attitude to beauty. “It doesn’t matter what you look like, beauty is on the inside,” she says with self-confidence. But doesn’t she get mad when the Glee scriptwriters make fun of her nose? It seems not. “You’ve got to laugh,” she says, although there is one matter of size she wants to clear up, once and for all. “They always talk about my boobs being too small and I’m like ok, let’s be real! Rachel does not have the smallest boobs in the club.” Of course, the actress is quick to point out that a small cleavage is nothing to be ashamed of, “but it’s not true!” Posing for the sexy photo shoot in a skimpy leotard and skyscraper heels in one shot and semi-topless in another, it’s clear to see that she’s a misfit no more. She is talented and adorable, and I hope she goes far! One of the great things of the Glee cast is that they might not all be perfect beauties, but their talent is insane!

I am so serious in saying that this girl is the original, old-school, triple crown of hollywood. She sings, dances, and acts – and does it WELL. I am so glad that she has made it so far from broadway (spending several years of her life working on spring awakening!) but still knows her roots and is bringing it to TV.

You go, Lea!

The entire cast is incredible. Lea is so talented, yes she is a definite triple threat in Hollywood.

I think Lea is incredibly beautiful! I have no idea what she’s talking about? She’s got that exotic, sexual thing going on–not a bad thing; desirable, actually. Lea is one of the main reasons why I’m addicted to Glee. She’s so talented, passionate, and beautiful. I’m glad she’s encouraging other women to except and embrace who they are. Beauty starts within. How you feel about yourself on the inside, reflects how you look on the outside IMO.

Lea, keep doing your thing girl, you’re HAWT!!! Ps. Rachel & Finn FTW! ;)

I do however think she will eventually get a nose job, just as others have like Ashlee Simpson etc. It’s in the works according to Perez

I have never seen Glee but she is beautiful! It is great to see that she is sending such a positive attitude on beauty! I hope she doesnt get a nose job! I saw that on someones post. She doesnt need one. The little things like that is what makes people beautiful!

I hope she never changes her nose..it’s part of who she is. She’s beautiful just like she is now. And what a voice!

Ew, I’m not a fan of the picture. Maybe if that thing wasn’t in her face….and those panties are really not cute at all.
