Victoria Beckham may have been anxious before her Spring 2011 presentation during New York Fashion Week on Sunday, Tweeting, “About to go!!!! Excited!!! Nervous!!!! X VB x” but the designer had nothing to worry about, pulling off the N.Y.C. show with her signature polish–and proving why she’s quickly becoming one of the hottest tickets in town. “What’s alluring for me this season are the curves of a women’s figure–sensual volume and a defined silhouette that allows for a freedom of movement,” Victoria told Along with the elegant wearable dresses that were sent down the runway—sure to be coveted by existing A-list fans like Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow—guests were also treated to a first look at her brand new line of handbags, which, if Victoria has any say in it, will rival even those of luxe label Hermes. “A Beckham can replace your Birkin,” Posh was overheard saying to a guest, according to And in addition to her must-have “Victoria Satchel,” what is one of Posh’s favorite items from the collection? A travel tote that she designed for husband David! Said Beckham: “I had to put a bag in the collection that David would use.” To see more of Victoria’s spring 2011 collection, visit –Gillian Koenig

I love this woman-Everything she wears is elegant-simple and classy looking-Kind of a young Jackie O look if she was alive today- I bet Princess Diana would have gone crazy over Beckhams line of clothes and bags-I would purchase a Beckham over a Birkin and I loved her new dresses….Charming and sophisticated

I love her line of clothes, but unfortunately I am a plus size. I like her Purse / Hand bag lines.

for somebody who is not so talented…she has done well…when you have a famous husband…it does help…it reminds me of Katie Holmes…they are lucky who they are married to…and it is bovious they both want the fame …dentermination has won!

Nothing has replaced the Birkin or have come even close. I don’t think that any woman that can afford a Birkin will replace it with a Beckham. I like Victoria, but she has gone a step too far. Let’s face facts. Posh has a great design team.

Well Victoria, until each of your bags is 100% handmade by a craftsman and takes 6 months to arrive because of the workmanship and because they must be specially ordered, and cannot be found at even stores like Bloomingdales or Harrods, then you can say they are as good as the only last true luxury bag company in the world. And for those of you who think LV is a luxury brand, do your research before posting about their bags that are simply canvas!

Too bad the celebs get the design credits- espeacially when others do the work.

Really Leslie??? You’re dismissive and patronzing that someone thinks Louis Vuitton is a luxury brand….get a M*****R F*****G LIFE!!!Why don’t you save your outrage for a genocide…or at least a upper class tax hike.
