She may not still be rocking her custom Monique Lhuiller gown, but there was no mistaking Carrie Underwood’s honeymoon glow as she hit the Today show stage Friday morning to not only perform hits like “Undo It” and “Cowboy Casanova”, but also flaunt her sparkling new wedding band. After tying the knot with hockey player Mike Fisher, 30, in a Southern style wedding earlier this month, Underwood has swapped a diamond band by jeweler Jonathon Arndt for the yellow diamond engagement ring he had also designed for her. So how’s married life treating the country queen? “It’s a lot like dating life,” she said, which includes continuing their long distance relationship with hockey player husband Fisher in Canada, where he plays for the Ottawa Senators. “It’s good,” she says. “We’re both very busy people and understand each other’s life, so we’re okay with it.” –– Alison Schwartz

Susan, jealous much? Carrie’s dress wa s absolutely BEAUTIFUL.

To the person that ask why she doesn’t wear her engagement ring; Have you SEEN it? It’s HUGE! During her performance on the Today show she was constantly reaching into the crowd to shake hands, high five etc. Does she really need some idiot trying to make off with her engagement rock?? I think not.

Mike Fisher is a man of Faith who described Carrie last night at a church event in Ottawa as the woman he has waited for (despite being teased for being too picky) because he only wanted the best person for him and that he appreciated the fact that he could trust her. If anyone can do a long-distance relationship, I believe they could.

To clarify, he said he was teased in the past for being single for a long time, and that people said he was too picky and should settle down. He wanted to wait until he met the right girl for him

For the people that know Mike Fisher, the fact that HE (who is a top quality but low-key man) chose HER, means that she must have many good qualities.

I hope she never changes. She seems down to earth and counts her blessings. So many should take a lesson from her.

Blessings for a marriage till death do you part, for better, for worse, in sickness and in health, to Carrie and Mike Fisher. Mike, may you treat her and love her as Christ loved and gave himself up for the church with a sacrificial love every ay like the first day you met and in return, Carrie, may you respect him and love him as well and both of you except God’s eternal gift of salvation to forgive us for our sins through His son Jesus Chist’s death on the cross and make God the center of your mariage and then spend eternity with Him. May you grow closer together each day and may your careers NEVER take priority over each other.

She married weeks ago. People get married every day for heaven’s sakes. She needs to get over herself.
