Demi Moore's Newest Detox Adventure: Going 'Clean'

Just weeks after Tweeting about her detox à deux with husband Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore is coming clean again about her latest fitness craze–but this time she’s talking up a totally different program. Admitting that she only lasted four days on the Master Cleanse, which consists of a diet only of Cayenne pepper, lemon juice, maple syrup, it seems that the star is onto greener (and more filling!) pastures. “2day’s day 13 4me on The Clean Program!” Demi Tweeted on Tuesday. The three-week cleanse, developed by cardiologist Dr. Alejandro Junger, has long been raved about by stars like Gwyneth Paltrow for its ability to depuff and detoxify the body by excluding common allergens and glutens. The non-fasting plan is also favored by some celebs who find its two liquid meals a day and one vegetable-, grain- and protein-filled lunch a more livable option than food-free detoxes. And while Demi doesn’t mention whether cleanse-resistant Ashton is joining her on this program, she’s just days away from crossing its three-week finish line. She’s thinned out but looks older in the face.

KHB, if you click in the body of the article on the word raved (before Gwyneth’s name) it will take you to the Goop site.

Looking through it I may have found the answers to my prayers! Gluten/ Wheat/ Nuts have been staple(s) of my diet and w/in 3 months I put on over 45 pounds and feel like -bleep- >>> So, albeit I cannot afford the program, I am, per the ingredients, going to reproduce it to the best of my ability! Hope it helps this sudden ‘poundage’ that is leaving me insanely tired, uncomfortable and yes, depressed!

I did this detox and it was actually doable for “real” people who need food. It’s not for the elite. All I bought was the book that had the recipes (then you buy pretty normal, albeit organic food). I found everything I needed in Trader Joe’s & Whole Foods.

She looks thin and attractive but her face still looks her age.

i think the puffiness in the face made her look younger, it filled up the wrinkles.

Seriously.. Does a talented Actress need to talk about a cleansing “diet’.. Demi, I met you years ago… is this really important. How about a great film role to celebrate your gift as a actress. jj

She’s still exceedingly attractive, and thin. It’s too bad she feels like she’s got to constantly “improve” herself. She should instead embrace that fact that at her age she looks better than many young women half her age. I hate how getting older seems to be some sort of crime in our society.

$350.00 for the program? so much for being affordable to the regular person
