Would You Try A Dramatic Look Like January Jones?

We’re used to seeing January Jones as perfectly coiffed and red-lipped Betty Draper on Mad Men. But the former model definitely shook up her image at the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala by pairing a dramatically sculpted updo with steely blue eye shadow, that went straight from her lashes into her eyebrows! The result? An otherworldly, runway-ready look. We think this was the perfect beauty mix for a night that was all about high fashion, but we aren’t so sure it would work at a less glam event. Tell us: Would you try January Jones’ daring makeup or is it best left for the red carpet? Vote! Sound off below and you might see your opinion in print in our next issue!

I use technology to keep me stirhgat. (What did you expect?) I currently have a Palm Treo smartphone. Any unusual stuff (and most of everything else) goes into either the calendar or the To Do list. I sync it with Entourage on my Mac daily, which is automatically backed up through Time Machine to a 1TB hard drive and Carbonite online. When I get home in the evenings, I go through the lists and make sure I take care of as much as I can.I check the lists every day, first thing after I do my Yoga.By doing these things, I keep my clients’ needs on my mind as I go about my day.
