Not even a fashion heavyweight like Roland Mouret is impervious to the sartorial whims of a star like Beyoncé. Upon the songstress’ request, the Frenchman recently strayed from his signature body-skimming calf-length dresses and launched a rainbow-themed collection for with much more abbreviated hems. The designer, who also counts Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, and Demi Moore as fans, took time out to exclusively share his motivation for the shorter frocks with “In a funny way, the first one that did that for me was Beyoncé, this season where my length was mid-calf. She asked to raise the hem. I said, ‘you really inspire me, because it’s nice to see that kind of attitude.'” Though he admits the longer dresses were made for women who “don’t want to show the legs because they don’t like the leg,” the new series gives girls like Beyoncé plenty of opportunity to flash their well-toned gams. I’m a huge Kristen Stewart fan, but I’m also a fan of fashion, and pelope say that the two don’t combine I disagree, I just think that Kristen’s stylist keeps driving Kristen away from edgy looks that fit her personality oh-so-well. Versace is a good brand (although some pelope may say she wouldn’t be able to pull it off) because she has the attitude for it, and Proenza Schouler is amazing at doing edgy and tomboy looks Rodarte as well. I think that Kristen’s stylist keeps putting her in girlie dresses in which she likes (she says in an interview that she doesn’t wear dresses she doesn’t like), but you can totally tell that the Rock and Republic dress she wore in 2009 was HER type of dress as well as the Chanel Couture at the Costume Institute Gala (I didn’t like that one that much as well, but she said that she was never more confident than she was there). And despite the fact that I am obsessed with Kristen, I’m so disappointed because her stylist ALWAYS stuffs her in black heels. WHY?!??!?! I think that overtime Kristen’s confidence will develop and she and her stylist will then together find a look that works for her and a look that keeps things interesting
