Lindsay Lohan On Her Ungaro Debut: "I Am Learning"

The Paris fashion world never expected to see pasties on the runway. Nor, apparently, did the creative consultant behind the disastrous line, Lindsay Lohan. The actress, 23, who was skewered by the fashion press for the first Ungaro collection she served as artistic advisor on, blamed the fiasco on “coming in so late and having not that much time to do a whole collection.” As for the much-maligned sequined pasties flashed by the models when they opened their jackets and blouses, Lohan said told PEOPLE on Wednesday at a Victoria’s Secret Velvet launch party in New York that she was as shocked as the audience. “I wasn’t aware of the nipple tassels on the girls until they were walking out,” she says, adding that “I am going back to Paris for the next collection….I am learning.” Still, the clock for her next collection is already ticking. “It’s already in January,” she says. “I thought it was in March.” –Isley Kasica

It couldn’t be because she has absolutely no talent! Do us a favor, Lindsay! Stay away from the spotlight! You’re pathetic!

It’s obvious this girl did not take her 12 steps seriously. One of the is accemptance of responsibility. She won’t accept responsibility foe ANYTHING and is in constant denial.

Wow, she looks much older than 23, more like 33. I suppose it’s all the hard living this girl has already done. Lindsay should take a page from the Britney Spears book and go ahead and clean up her life. The only difference is that Britney has talent.

Look, she gave her name to the disaster, regardless of whether she sat at a sewing machine, pointed to a picture or phoned it in. You’d better belive if the collection turned out to be the toast of fashion week, she’d be claiming responsibility. She needs to grow up, own up and clean up.

She’s know what her schedule was if she would quit drinking, drugs and spending the night tweeting about how much she loves Sam!! She needs to grow up and take responsibility for her own life….based on her parents, she doesn’t stand a chance in he**!

Actually, right after the show Lindsay was quoted saying something along the lines of “Girls need to learn cover their nips” to explain the pasties, as if it was a great idea….which it clearly was not. And saying she came in so late and didn’t have time to do the whole collection isn’t really the best way to get along w/the designers and anyone else she’ll have to continue to worth with at Ungaro.

Lindsay Lohan "Still Learning" Time, Fashion on

[…] So, what does Lindsay Lohan have to say about her disastrous Ungaro show in Paris? She just didn’t have time to make a collection that didn’t totally suck. And those pasties? She didn’t even know about them! “I wasn’t aware of the nipple tassels on the girls until they were walking out…” Don’t worry, though, because the actress says she’s “still learning,” which gives us an iota of hope her next effort won’t fall so flat.
