What Trends Would You Like To See Make a Comeback?

If you’ve been keeping an eye on the latest red carpet fashions, then you know that many celebrities, like Jessica Simpson and Kate Bosworth, are big fans of Herve Leger’s body-hugging bandage dresses. It’s just one of the ways designers are reflecting this season’s streamlined silhouettes. But it seems like just yesterday we were embracing more billowy styles, like Kate Beckinsale’s bubble dress. Only a few seasons ago, the look was perfect for a top, skirt or dress and post holiday weight gain, that’s one trend we wouldn’t mind revisiting. Now the editors at StyleWatch want to know what you think. Tell us: What fashion trend would you love to see make a comeback and why? –Archana Ram

Bright colors! I know we’re on an economic downturn, but I think a little hot pink could cheer us all up!! Read my posts on today’s trends at iheartheels.com.

one shouldered dresses! they are just so elegant and fashionable!

You are in luck Kelly! One-shouldered looks were all over the runways and are a predicted trend for Spring! That is also one of my favorite looks to wear, though I know a lot of people dislike it.

I hope Maxi Dresses are hear to stay. I love the California girl look and always considered myself to have a little inner boho chic. Abolish any re-trend form the 80s. I am still embarrased from wearing it the first time. I don’t want to wear or see. It serves as a reminder of my fashion wayward youth.

I love babydolls. And I would love to see more of them. :)

No bubble dresses! I don’t care what your excuse for wearing one is, because they look awful on everyone no matter what size you are!! Also, they don’t “hide holiday weight gain”! They accentuate it because weight gain shows in the face, too, it just looks like you’re even ROUNDER than you really are! I’d love to see ripped jeans make a comeback. I have a fave pair that I team up with my sexy purple pumps for a night out and the duo is always a hit, so I don’t see why they’re still “out.”

I know that I am dating myself, but I loved parachute pants when I was a teen. They were way before cargo pants. Better yet, they swished when you walked and came in fun colors!

I’m not gonna lie … I’m excited about the harem/parachute pants. Additionally, I mostly just want to keep up the trends with jeans variations. I love skinny, wide-leg, boyfriend, distressed, embellished, and all the other options that are big right now. It’s great to have the ability to base a whole outfit around a pair of unique jeans. Miss Holmes has certainly made an impact as the jeans queen.
