The internet has been buzzing for months about the possibility of Victoria Beckham showing at Fashion Week, and now that it is finally here, we can confirm that Posh is in fact launching her dress collection this week. The designer is skipping the runway for a more intimate experience for the fashion elite. The 10 look collection of signature day and evening dresses will be showed by appointment only to top retailers and high-end fashion magazine editors. “This is a very personal collection for me,” says Victoria in a released statement. “I’ve always been drawn to intricate, seam-detailed designs as their structure enhances the flattering shape of a woman’s silhouette.¬† My signature dress collection is timeless, a modern interpretation of my inspirations.” Posh’s dresses are definitely a reflection of her own style. Created from fabrics like fine gazar¬†and georgette silks, basket-weave cotton, taffeta and organza inlay complete with embroidery from India and hand-sewn beadwork, Victoria’s latest design fortay is the essence of sophistication and femininity. Dresses will range in retail price from approximately $1,400 – $3,500 and be sold in specialty shops and upscale department stores. Even though we won’t get to see the much-anticipated collection go down the runway, just knowing Victoria will be here at Fashion Week is exciting — maybe we’ll run into her at Christian Siriano’s runway debut at the tents? I really like the way she dresses, she’s a wonderful dresser, but in all actuallity who gives a damn about her over priced clothes when she was so mid or late 90’s (Spice Girls -whenever it was). Her husband is hot and she has a great family however, on the fashion side I dont think she hasn’t made a name for herself to sale expensive dresses. That’s just my opinion. :-)

i agree with you JP, i love the way VB dresses, she is gorgeous and she always looks great! what i dont get is: her jeans wouldnt sell for $300 a pair and they ended up reducing the prices and all that…what makes her think someone is going to spent between $1500 and $3500 on a dress? she can only count on that from celebrities and i dont know that all those celebs endorse her like that. if only i could afford to dress myself like her!

Although she is very pretty and rich and all that, I do believe that she’s acting very snobby. I’m sorry that most people in the usa can not afford thousand dollar dresses and she is just appealing to the elites and the wealthy. Go back to Britain! Leave your husband tho for me!

Who would buy her clothes? She always looks uncomfortable in whatever she’s wearing and seems overdressed and plastic all the time. Who needs that?

seriously – who made her the queen. i can’t stand her. she is homely, obnoxious and really needs to eat a sandwich. i can’t believe i wasted my time reading about this, much less complaining about it.

Why would normal class people be looking forward to her line, if the dresses cost as much as their monthly house payment?
