As if his music and movie careers (and hanging out with girlfriend Rihanna!) weren’t keeping Chris Brown busy enough, the star has now added desiging to his resume. The singer stopped into the LA Lids store at the Beverly Center on Saturday to unveil his new line of six exclusively designed New Era caps, which feature cartoon-like characters and lettering aimed for the young and stylin.’ “Hats have been my trademark since I started in the business about four years ago,” he says. “Young kids love hats, I love them. Everyone does. So that’s what attracted me to designing them.” Says Brown of the hat’s stylings, “One is of a foot smashing a radio. Its like saying undeniable music — like when you have smashes. At the same time it represents the rebel in you — not doing the conventional.” And for the true Brown fan, try the one that Chris calls his “alter-ego.” He say, “Another design is the nerd. It’s like my alter-ego. The goofy side. The character that you don’t really see. It’s like having a logo for my character.” He praises New Era for being “one of the best” and says he plans to branch off into shoes and watches next. “Now-a-days,” he says of jewelry, “everyone doesn’t have to be blinged out.” He adds that he plans on being more subtle with his accessories approach. “I don’t have be like Jacob,” he giggles. I don’t like Chris Brown at all. He’s just an untalented Usher clone. I wish he’d just go away.

Ok, the “helen” girl needs to shut up! Chris B. is such an amazing talented artist. He is totally different than Usher. Usher and Justin Timberlake were really entertaining dancers until Chris came along. After seeing one of Chris B.’s performances you feel like Usher and J.T. are performing in slow motion! Apart from that his style is completely different, he’s really on top right now and I hope it remains that way! I’m glad he is expanding his talents and is designing. I’ll make sure my man rocks his hats! Go Chris!!!

This Guy really sucks, his music slacks and is is kinda girly. his hats are ridiculous, he is not a designer, in fact there is nothing artistic or new about caps. And if any of my friends ever appears with one of his caps we will make fun of whoever. And yes he is a bogus usher.. that’s wass-up. here in LA we don’t like him.
