Sneak Peek: Christina Aguilera's Macy's Campaign

Mark Seliger for Macy’s

Macy’s has been a household name for their great fashion for years, and as part of their 150th birthday celebration, they’re letting some their biggest stars shine in a series of commemorative photos shot by famed celebrity photographer Mark Seliger. Each of five stars will represent one facet of Macy’s, with Christina Aguilera embodying the famous Flower Shows, Tommy Hilfiger taking on the Fourth of July, Martha Stewart personifying the holiday season, Donald Trump heralding the Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Calvin Klein representing the Macy’s fashion portfolio. And Seliger, who’s been one of the industry’s most successful rock photographers for over 20 years, couldn’t be happier for the opportunity to create the larger-than-life images that will roll out this fall in Macy’s stores across the country. “It’s been a privilege to collaborate with Macy’s for its 150th anniversary,” he says. “And to work with such great talent, like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, who are icons in the fashion world, Christina Aguilera, who is one of the most important voices in popular music, and Martha Stewart and Donald Trump, who are just about as much of American icons as you can get — next to Macy’s of course.”

Christina Aguilera is very pretty with or without makeup. I love her music. She sings beautiful. I love all of her songs especially “Hurt”. I cried when I heard the song and the words. It reminded me with the problems I had with my father. Long story… and not a happy ending. Good luck Christina. Stay beautiful and lots of luck to you, your precious son and your husband.

heather, her hair is white because she is a showwhite? :-)

Sorry, guys, but there are many girls on the streets who look better than Christina even without Photoshop. She looks like a cheap hooker.

I love Christina’s songs and her voice, but her make up artist and her stylist have to go bye-bye! Fired!!!

I love how K2 tells people to shut up and then talks about freedom of speech. Loser.

She looks absolutely stunning! It is so sad that some people have to come up with negative things to say about a gorgeous woman to make themselves feel better. Anyone who can honestly say that she doesn’t look beautiful needs an eye doctor and a shrink.

i have just recently learnt that there is alwasy competition between people. a girl always looks at the girl next to her to size up the competition whether she is prettier than her or not. the ones who usually comment negative things are the one insecure about themselves, often jealous because this girl next to them is superior to them in every imaginable way. so yeah, says a lot about Katia and other haters out there doesn’t it? its not having opinion, its about hating and ranting unnecessary comments, just to make themselves feel better.

Well put, Czar.

[…] Christina, she’s the new face of the Macy’s 45th anniversary campaign. Nice to see her back at work but crimping is SO the wrong look for you, […]
