Sneak Peek: Christina Aguilera's Macy's Campaign

Mark Seliger for Macy’s

Macy’s has been a household name for their great fashion for years, and as part of their 150th birthday celebration, they’re letting some their biggest stars shine in a series of commemorative photos shot by famed celebrity photographer Mark Seliger. Each of five stars will represent one facet of Macy’s, with Christina Aguilera embodying the famous Flower Shows, Tommy Hilfiger taking on the Fourth of July, Martha Stewart personifying the holiday season, Donald Trump heralding the Thanksgiving Day Parade, and Calvin Klein representing the Macy’s fashion portfolio. And Seliger, who’s been one of the industry’s most successful rock photographers for over 20 years, couldn’t be happier for the opportunity to create the larger-than-life images that will roll out this fall in Macy’s stores across the country. “It’s been a privilege to collaborate with Macy’s for its 150th anniversary,” he says. “And to work with such great talent, like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, who are icons in the fashion world, Christina Aguilera, who is one of the most important voices in popular music, and Martha Stewart and Donald Trump, who are just about as much of American icons as you can get — next to Macy’s of course.”

Yes, Katia, but it takes a lot of skill with Photoshop, as well as the camera, to make an image look beautiful. Even so, you can’t polish a turd, as it’s said. Christina is an intensely gorgeous woman. So it is, in fact, something “special”.

As for her hair – I doubt she’s going for the ‘natural’ look. You should try a more positive outlook on things..

I love how these comments are supposed to be about the articles written, and yet, they always turn into a battle of opinions…and that’s just it OPINIONS, and everyone is entitled to their own.

I personally like the photo. It’s a heck of alot better than anything I could do, so kudos to Christina and to the photographer and Macy’s.

I really like her because she is a talented young lady with a beautiful voice. As usual, she is over styled and with too much makeup. I think she’s prettier when she’s natural. I know it’s an ad campaign but it’s too much “look” for such a petite and pretty girl.

Katia, Gen & Boe if you don’t have anything nice of say, SHUT UP!! We are all beautiful.
There’s enough negativity in the world.
Freedom of speech my b*** ~ Peace!!!

can u say HATERS!!..

The outfit is gorgeous, but Christina is irrelevant – Macy’s could have put any thin blonde with a big chest (or even one without a big chest) in this photo and it would have looked nice. She doesn’t strike me as anything special.

Christina Aguilera looks great in the new AD for Macy’s Campaign, and a happy 150th birthday goes out to Macy’s, etc.
