Katherine Heigl was radiant at the premiere of her new movie 27 Dresses. And while part of this could be attributed to her recent wedding to Josh Kelley, her gorgeous gray dress and elegant hair and makeup certainly didn’t hurt. We were so impressed with Heigl’s look that we decided to track it down from head to toe.

Katherine’s make-up artist, Monika Blunder, gave us the step-by-step on how to recreate her look. Taking inspiration from Grace Kelly, Blunder started by giving Katherine luminous skin, first prepping her face with a light serum. She then applied Teint Innocence Naturally Luminous Fluid Makeup in Shell, $45, to her whole face. To give Heigl a natural looking flush, she brushed Chanel Powder Blush in Orchid Rose, $40, along her cheekbones and apples of her cheeks. She used sheer pink-hued shadows from Chanel’s Quadra Eye Shadow palette in Demure, $55, on her lids and brow bone and the brown shade on her outer lid. A coat of matte Lipstick Queen lipstick in Rouge Sinner, $18, completed this classic look.

For her role as the perpetual bridesmaid in 27 Dresses, Katherine had to endure wearing a parade of less than gorgeous gowns. (Click here for our exclusive sneak peek.) So when it came time for the film’s Hollywood premiere, it’s no surprise she chose this much more flattering knee-length gray Bill Blass gown from the designer’s spring 2008 collection. For a similar look try this gown, $50, by Isaac Mizrahi for Target. Heigl paired the look with sleek open-toed Jimmy Choo pumps similar to these, $65, from And she finished off the look with a string of chunky black pearls like these from from

Michigan girl with morals on

In another article Katherine Heigl said her and her husband were just now moving in together because she is from the “South” and that is how they do it. This statement implies (from so many southern celebs it is getting sickening)that people who don’t live in the South lack morals or any sense of decency. I take offense. I am from Michigan and have a strong sense of family and strong morals (and I know enough not to smoke Katherine!). And by the way, isn’t the Spears family from the South? Gee, I can see why she is bragging about the morals in the South.

She looks great!

Michigan girl,
I think you are being a little to quickly offended. Just because she says she was raised a certain way in a certain area doesn’t mean that she is saying that anyone from another area has no morals. And exactly why are you insulting Katherine’s choice to not live with her husband before marriage by comparing her to the Spears family? All this comment does is make you look a little hateful.

Her husband is from the South and he said that!

Amen, Michigan girl!!!

I agree with Heather and K. Katharine said they didn’t move in together because of her Mormon upbringing and Josh said they didn’t do it because that’s “how we roll” in the South. However, neither of them pointed out that people who aren’t Mormon or aren’t from the South do not have these morals as well. Maybe you are so quickly offended due to a guilty conscience?

I think she looks rather Wilma Flintstoney. Hair kind of stiff, too much concealer, rather old in my book. (Like Sharon Stone’s sister or something.) And the mouth a little Jokerish. The dress is cute, what I can see of it.

Oh, and Michigan? She was raised Mormon. You can be all “moral” no matter where you are from, what religion you follow, or how you were raised. Just take it as context, not an absolute. I thoroughly believe you are as conservative as they come. Fine with me, if you’re from Ypsilanti or Istanbul.

I happen to agree with the girl from Michigan. It isn’t just Katherine that makes these kind of remarks. Many celebs from the South say things like “I grew up in the South, we have manners” or things of that nature. It is what it is-an insult to others who don’t live in the South.

Lived "in sin" and married 10 years later for it on

Mormom? Didn’t Katherine Heigl just tout the virtues of the Pina Coladas on her honeymoon? The last I heard, Mormons couldn’t drink alcohol, or soda for that matter.

wow she really does look like she could be Wilma Flinstone!
I’m not a fan of her really..she comes off very rude and as if she is better then everyone else.
