The Real Designer Behind Gossip Girl's Clothing Line

Eric Liebowitz / The CW

We have a serious obsession with the fashion on Gossip Girl. Lately, we’ve been wondering who the real designer is behind the chic dresses that Blair’s mom designs on the show, like these sleek backless dresses on Blair (Leighton Meester) and Serena (Blake Lively). It turns out that Lorick New York is having a star-making debut as the fictional label. The party dresses and ladylike pencil skirts are the epitome of high society style and easily workable in real life, too. While you can’t get your hands on everything yet, select pieces are available now on (including the orange dress, above, $483). View the whole collection at, and start planning your spring wardrobes now!
