Jewelry That Gives Back To The Environment

As celebrities get behind eco-friendly causes, great designers are following in their path. Jewelry designer Kristen McCloud has permanently teamed up with American Forests, an organization that protects, restores and enhances our trees and forests. A tree will be planted by American Forest for any Kristen McCloud piece purchased at or at any boutique around the world that carries her line. I think it’s so wonderful that Kristen is doing something to help promote conservation and preserve our natural resourses, particularly our forests. As we in Louisiana are sadly witnessing the loss of our beautiful marshlands from coastal errosion, it’s nice to see someone “doing their part,” in a positive, unselfish manner to replenish our forests. Her jewelry is beautiful, and obviously she is a beautiful person as well!
