Wanna Smell Like Jessica Simpson?

Jessica Simpson already has a beauty empire with her successful Dessert Beauty collections, but she hasn’t had an eponymous fragrance — until now. The singer-actress has just inked a deal with fragrance giant Parlux to launch a signature scent in July 2008. In a statement released to WWD, Jessica explains the partnership. “I wanted to partner with a company that would be able to express my personality in a fragrance.” The scent will not only join Dessert Beauty, but also Jessica’s existing accessory collections and her upcoming sunglasses, swimwear and lingerie. I would go out of my way to avoid anything related to Jessica Simpson. In fact, she stinks!

I hope Jessica brings something different and unique to the celebrity fragrance mix. So far, the others all smell the same to me, the only difference is the bottles. If it smells good why not buy it!

I do think she is pretty and probably a really nice girl – but seriuosly these celebrites are just getting ‘used’ to sell perfume. I’m pretty sure they didn’t come up with the ‘smell’. They got paid a lot of money to let a company put there face on the label of the product. Soon actresses will be the new supermodels – they already have taken over the fashion industry via perfumes, clothing lines etc. It’s getting annoying…
