We heard months ago that Victoria Beckham was creating a denim line — and dVb Denim by Victoria Beckham is finally hitting stores. PEOPLE got the chance recently to chat with Posh about the new line. She tells PEOPLE, “my philosophy for jeans whether designing or purchasing is a tailored fit, exceptional quality and a shot of high fashion.” And famous husband David Beckham is already a fan of the line, asking for his own style! “He thinks the collection is great. We love going into a shop and seeing the collection of the shelves. It’s really exciting.” And lest you worry that the couple’s highly anticipated move to L.A. will alter Posh’s signature daring style, she assures us “moving to LA won’t change at all the way I dress.” Whew!

Get your own pair of dVb jeans at, $175-$290.

For the record I am only jealous of the truly talented and beautiful – think Uma Thurman, Halle Berry, Kate Winslet, Beyonce. Now those are some gals to be jealous of. Also, that star on those jeans is seriously tacky.

Ok, I love Victoria’s style she always looks great and unique and sexy, but these jeans are rather boring and very overpriced. So I will not be buying them. But I think it would be interesting to see her design other things besides denim, maybe that could be something I could get into…

I love how Victoria dresses, but those are the homeliest, worst fitting jeans I’ve ever seen. The model looks awful in them, they completely obliterate any semblence of a cute figure. In several of the photos, it looks like they’re squeezing the hips flat, and the remaining fat is spilling out over the top.

Definitely not worth $225. Disappointing since her own personal style is so flawless.

I dont get what is the big deal about “posh”
yeah she is pretty and most of the time she has a great sence of style…but c’mon can’t she be normal for once…does she always have to be dresses up…im sure under all that make up she is not that attractive…ohh
and the jeans they are fugly !
and too expensive…

I think this is just SAD! It KILLS me that most of these celebrities (posh, gwen s., beyonce) have grown up in lower-middle classes up until they were famous and when they make it big and get their own clothing line.. over price everything! What about the kids that look up to them..I know my daughter has wanted beyonce jeans and gwen’s purses, but I can not afford it!! Can’t they be a little more reasonalbe. $200 for jeans? What is the threading 14k gold? It truly pisses me off. You are paying for their name and guess what people they have no idea who the hell you are! Thats why I am soo excited about Sarah Jessica Parkers new line. FINALLY a celebrity with class who UNDERSTANDS that looking good doesnt have to cost a fortune. I wish more people would follow in her footsteps. And altho I know my daughter won’t be dying for the new SJP clothing line. This 32 yr. old mother will be!

Hmmm, at 30 I think I could do without the star on the pockets- looks too childish. So, that being said I would not pay nearly $200 for a pair of jeans with a star on the back end. Wait, I would not pay $200 for a pair of jeans period but even more so now. PLus, I can’t help but notice that on kitson’s website, the model is wearing a size a tad small- not into the muffin top look- so they aren’t very flattering looking in the pictures. Hmmm… no thanks, I’ll stick to what I’ve got.

wow. you would think that at $200 a pop they could afford a decent butt model. those enormous purple tags look stupid. does anyone remember gloria vanderbilt jeans? that’s what it reminds me of. and the star looks very childish. boo hiss.

I had to look at the line of jeans and I agree with Kristin. The jeans don’t even look good on the model on the website. They pull on the thighs and make the model look like twenty pounds of sausage in a ten pound bag. They were probably cut to fit Victoria’s cadaverish body, and will not look good on anyone with a normal body. If a clothing model can’t make the jeans look good, what hope do the rest of us have. I wish this woman would dry up and blow away.

i totally agree with MMg
