Who hasn’t had that feeling of sand or city grime just settling on to their faces in the summer? When you’re on the go, you don’t always have time to wash your face — that’s why we love cleansing cloths, which do everything from take off waterproof mascara to gently exfoliate. Just don’t forget to reapply your sunscreen if you’re heading back outside! Here are a few of our favorites:

Garnier Nutrioniste Nutri-Pure Detoxifying ” target=”_blank”>Wet Cleansing Towelettes, $6, are oil-free and infused with Vitamins B5 and E to purify your skin as they remove makeup.

Olay ” target=”_blank”>Micro-derm Cleansing Cloths, $8, are part of their anti-aging Regenerist line — one side of the cloth resurfaces skin while the other side removes even waterproof mascara.

Comodynes Easy Peeling Towelettes, $13, are two-sided for some double exfoliating action and deep cleaning.

I use the Garnier towelettes to take off my makeup before I work out. It doesn’t remove all of my mascara but that’s OK. It’s better than having my face paint melt off from sweat.

I think this is a great idea! Especially if you’re going camping or overnight on a boat like I’m going to be doing this weekend! Can you buy them anywhere? And do they work well, because I usually use Proactive, but it seems like I should be ok just using this for a night or two?

I spent quite a few summers living on a boat. The boat had “sunshowers” to shower with, which I love but, I could have used these nifty wipes for a quick fix refreshed look. I think AshleyL is right about “a great idea for camping and or boating”…

AshleyL enjoy your weekend and be safe!! Cheers!

I use Boots (from Target) Quick Thinking wipes and they’re AWESOME. One wipe takes off all my eye makeup (eyeliner and mascara) and also face makeup. I use one side for eye makeup and the other for my face. I have had far fewer breakouts since I’ve used these and they’re very gentle.
