Fergie Buys in Multiples -- Do You?

05/21/2007 at 01:55 PM ET

If we find that perfect T-shirt or tank top or even a bra, we tend to stock up on multiple colors. But getting duplicates of a $1200 dress? That’s just what Fergie‘s done. We spotted the “Glamorous” singer in her Couture Couture (Juicy Couture’s high-end line) back in February during a night out with boyfriend Josh Duhamel. But apparently, she had a white version ready in waiting, which she wore to the 2007 Cipriani Wall Street Concert Series benefiting UNICEF in N.Y.C. last week! We think the dress is adorable, and if we had the bucks, we’d stock up on it too! We want to know: Do you stock up on your favorite pieces in multiple colors? Or is one just good enough?

Love Fergie’s dress? Get your own by calling 646-336-8151. Love the look? Get it for less with this Franny “Edie” Mini Dress, $265 at scoopnyc.com or this lace version at forever21.com, $30.

I love Fergie’s dress.

Absolutely, I by multiples all the time {bras, underwear, jeans…}. If I see a really cute dress in a blue, but also spot it in a cream color or something, I’ll pick both up. I’ve learned that waiting isn’t always a good thing, because when I’ve waited before, the dress is never there, so I miss out, especially if I really love the color and style. I do this especially with tank-tops, I have tank-tops for the Summer from all different styles to colors.

Yes, I always stock up, if I find pieces that are flattering
comfortable and great prices, like tank tops, pants, even
shoes, cause whenever I go back, probably the merchandise
is gone. Yvonne

I do this occasionally! If something looks great on me and makes me feel good. I’ll buy it it multiple colors. But I wouldn’t do this too, too much. Soon you and others will get bored and tired of your style!

I try to do this…but I’m always afraid of shopper’s remource!…I swear I think I’m the only girl who is hesitant to buy a $60 pair of shoes…but if i really really love something…I’ll buy two of the same!!….. fortunately, I save money throughout this process :)

As for Fergie…I love both dresse, but the white one is cuter…love her style!:)

I’m very picky about clothes and once I find something that fits me right, I definitely stock up. Bras that fit just right are SO hard to find, t-shirts that aren’t too form-fitting, the jeans that make my rear-end look fabulous… they are all worth buying a few!

Sure! As long as its not too over priced or anything.

Of course I stock up. Especially t-shirts and tops. It’s very hard to find good tops for example. They tend to shrink and once I find a good one I get more than one of them. For example I have one top (from H&M) in white, blue, red, green, brown and grey! It’s really good and not too expensive.

If you find something that fits so well and looks so good you SHOULD stock up. As said: one IS never enough… and when you have multiple, you can wear it so much longer!
