Kate Hudson's Lunch Date Cheap Chic

04/04/2007 at 01:31 PM ET

Kate Hudson just gave us one more reason to be inspired by her style. With all the fabulous designer clothes at her disposal, the sunny actress chose an adorable and affordable white dress to wear out to lunch with Owen Wilson recently. Kate’s crocheted white dress is a new style from Ella Moss and is available for $154 at bloomingdales.com. Sadly, her stylish “Antigone” sandals are Chanel and a bit more pricey — $650 at select CHANEL Boutiques, 800-550-0005. And a hot date with Owen Wilson? Priceless.

I found almost an exact replica at nordstroms.com in the juniors dresses. It’s way more affordable at $63 and is made by velvet torch

it is cute- a bit to pricy for me though. i think these dresses look cute with jeans under them- it makes them more casual for everyday life.

looks like a T-shirt, and she forgot the pants.

that dress is ADORABLE. they sell it at nordstroms too in the savvy department. and it comes in blue. its so cute. i think $154 for a well made dress by a well known designer is a good price.

i would spend 300$ on that dress. its beautiful

154 dollars for a dress is cheap? Umm not for me sorry thats a little expensive for me but i guess its cheap for a millionaire lol Kates dress is cute though.

You can get a dress very similar to that at Target or Old Navy for less than $40. She does look great tho!

I like the dress, it’s very cutesie. I would definitely wear this dress. However, like pretty much everyone else has said, $154 is too much to spend on just a simple cute dress, I couldn’t bring myself to shell out the money. Kate looks great by the way.

I don’t think 154$ are too much for a beatiful dress…it’s an average price for a medium-high quality dress here in Italy, perfect for people who cannot buy designer dresses.

the dress is cute on her. too expensive for me but shes a star so she can afford it
