Project Runway's Alison Kelly Debuts Her Line

03/05/2007 at 11:48 AM ET

She may have been voted off season three after that recylced-material-dress disaster, but that hasn’t stopped Alison’s design career from taking off. Not only was she a fan favorite, but her women’s wear line, Dahl, has been seen on the backs of Juliette Lewis, Anne Heche and Hilary Duff–post Project Runway– and now, you can own her clothes too. is exclusively offering Alison’s Dahl line of easy-to-wear dresses made out of jerseys and silks ranging from $190-$436. Of her collection, that has a hint of the past in an otherwise hip contemporary look, Alison says, “When you hint at the past, then people can relate to your clothing. They see something comfortable there.” That’s not all, jewelry designer Rachel Leigh teamed up with the Project Runway alumni to create pieces to complement her looks. I saw her designes on, they are cute I just like what she was wearing, and designing on Project Runway more!

I really liked her on Project Runway. They are cute little dresses– but ~$300 for a jersey mini dress?! I don’t know…

Kinda cute, but at a price only an idiot would pay. Ladies – you do not have to spend that much money on a little bitty dress!!!! Blek.

I like her as a designer because she knows how to dress a women’s body and she has an overall good taste. I guess the her protege from Project runway is what allowed her to up her prices, but I’m still interested to see what she has designed.

Cute but not at that price.

A little on the skimpy side.

cute but to short. nice but to pricey. should should go lower for her first line.

Skimpy is an understatement. What is with the Meg dress? If one takes off the bottom layer (“sold separately”) it isn’t wearable – well, I guess if you were breast feeding it would be convenient. I was expecting something a little better from her. This stuff looks like the something Vincent would design. When size 0 -2 models can’t even wear it, what hope is there for the rest of us?

The dress is dull, plain, and unimaginative. It’s all around boring.

Some of those pieces are quite cute. I would think that the incredibly short “dresses” could (should!) be worn with jeans or pants. I have tunics longer than some of those ;) However, the prices seem rather high; it’s unlikely I’d ever spend that much on a casual dress.

There is so much change in the before and after she has the coolest dress and those shoes to die for also her hair looks a lot more like her
