What's Up With Eva Green's Hair?

02/16/2007 at 11:00 AM ET

Whether or not she’s your favorite Bond girl, Eva Green is undeniably beautiful as Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale. So we are especially confused as to why she would take her lovely long locks and turn them into this veritable nest of hair at the BAFTA awards in London. And are those black streaks over her natural brown color? We’ve seen big hair gone bad before, but this is just a little too Bride of Frankenstein for us. Tell us: What do you think of Eva’s hairdo?

Eva looks gorgeous and dramatic. Much better than the perma-tanned bleached blonde clones normally on display. She takes risks but has the beauty and French sophistication to carry it off. It’s a shame she is criticised for this.

I think it looks rather nice….it seems to suit her!

nice dress very nice!

I have to disagree. She looks as though she drank someone’s champagne stash before getting dressed for the night. One can only imagine what insanity drove her to ruin the effect of a beautiful face and a beautiful dress with that monstrous hairstyle.

She looks straight out of the film Beetlejuice.

Wow who does Eve Green think she is Imogene Heap?

I understand her wanting to show of the beautiful neck of the dress, but there are so many other (more flattering) ways to do so. She is so beautiful, but the hair makes her look a little scary and crazed.

Love the dress, the make-up is fantastic. But the hair?
She seriously looks like the bride of Frankenstien!
I’m just being honest, for a horror movie great, but for real life I don’t think so.
