Predict-a-Gown: What Will Carrie Underwood Wear to the Grammys?

02/08/2007 at 06:00 AM ET

Carrie Underwood is the ultimate all-American girl, so what better for the nominee to wear to the Grammys than a great American designer? We know that Carrie has great legs and a taste for the feminine, so this nude J. Mendel dress would be perfect for her. Hmm, we like the idea of Carrie in a pale tone, so what about a floaty Jason Wu frock, a gilded Bill Blass mini or this goddess-like Michael Kors dress? Or go full tilt the opposite direction and wear a bold citrus Diane von Furstenberg stunner or a trendy cobalt sheath from Oscar de la Renta. We have just one thing to ask of the singer — Carrie, no more shorts/ballgown combos please. Tell us: What do you think Carrie Underwood should wear to the Grammys?

That dress is cute, but I really don’t care whether Carrie will be wearing it or not.
Actually I don’t really care what Carrie wears to be honest.

I didn’t care for either of those dresses. I hope she wears something better then those.

The Michael Kors dress is my favorite out of all them- but I don’t know if Carrie would wear it.

Love Love Love the J. Mendel dress, how much does that cost? I think its beautiful and would look great on her.

The J-mendel nude dress is an attractive look in terms of the style. I think it would work well for her. The colour, however, is a no go. I have yet to see a single person look good in nude coloured clothes. Do your skin a favour and flatter it with some colour. It can still be
elegant, it doesn’t have to be hot pink but a nice delicate colour or two would be nice. The whole nude colour just washes people out it doesn’t flatter even toned and lean bodies. Every guy I’ve ever asked said they find nude coloured clothing creepy looking. True story. The truth hurts and so do my eyes at the sight of nude clothing. Sexy is not supposed to be so obvious. But whatever floats your boat.

P.S. Why don’t fashion designers want their clothes on people built like Carrie Underwood, she’s 5’4″ and looks fantastic. I personally like seeing fashion on people who look like they’re still alive and like they’re going to stay alive by being healthy and toned, guys happen to like that. No offense to anyone.

Another one bites the dust! Carrie looks sick she’s gotten so skinny.

I think a bold colored dress would suit her best. I hope she doesn’t wear black, or she’ll really look sick.

I’m sure that whatever she wears – she’ll look great. She is so beautiful and I love her music!

I love the Jason Wu dress, but I think with her coloring, she’d look great in the blue Oscar de la Renta dress. I don’t really think she’d look that great in the gold or nude dresses because then she’d be all the same color, head to toe. The bright purple she’s wearing in the picture on the left was great on her. She definitely needs to wear a bold color.

I think she should go with the blue dress from Oscar.

the model on the right looks horrible she is WAY to skinny. How can I like a dress when someone that looks unhealthy is wearing it. Carrie has gotten to thin. What is up with hollywood and all the skinny people my god thin is good but pencil thin is gross
