Get Sarah Michelle Gellar's Street Chic Look

12/15/2006 at 05:00 PM ET

Our daily Star Tracks pictures often inspire shopping sprees, but it’s rare that we find ourselves wanting a head-to-toe look! But this photo of Sarah Michelle Gellar immediately sent us on a hunt. Taken on the set of her upcoming movie The Girl’s Guide to Hunting & Fishing, it captures NYC street chic at its best: Right down to the Prada bag and Christian Louboutin platforms. IMDB credits Patricia Field (of Sex & the City fame) as the costume designer, so it’s no wonder we find ourselves lusting after this look. Here’s how you can get it for yourself (with and without star’s budget).

The Top: Trina Turk pleated blouse,, $194. Or Try: Victoria’s Secret puff sleeve top,, $48.

The Pants (they look leather in the photo but we like satin better): Dolce & Gabbana satin pants,, $1,150. Or try: Frederick’s of Hollywood skinny pant,, $44

The Bag: Prada Gauffre bag,, $1, 645. Or Try: ASOS ruched bag,, $38

The Shoes: Christian Louboutin platforms,, $710. Or try: Go Jane peep toes,, $19

Love SMG, but please, lose the brown purse and the RED
blouse. The red is too stark for her light complexion…
she’s too beautiful for a color that wants to jump out
at you!!!!!

I love the leather pants, which are CLEARLY LEATHER. I love the red and black, and the brown bag is actually good so everything isn’t too matchy matchy. Actually i love mixing brown and black. The people commenting here really don’t sound exactly like fashion types. So their comments don’t mean very much.
