Kylie Minogue: My Style Icon

11/02/2006 at 10:56 AM ET

Kylie Minogue handled her breast cancer ordeal with the maximum strength, grace, and most importantly, love from boyfriend Olivier Martinez that one could ever hope for. And she has somehow emerged from the illness looking more gorgeous than ever– she perfectly blends being a sophisticated adult with being a global pop-star. Her day clothes are always impeccably tailored with a unique twist, whether it be a quirky shoe choice, a trench coat perched on her shoulders, or an unexpected belt. And at night, she goes for all out glamour. How many women could look that at ease in a leopard-print satin gown? She is such a style icon in her native Australia that her costumes from the past two decades are currently touring museums! The best part is that besides the overwheming desire to raid her closet, there is so much more in Kylie to admire. — Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

I’m so happy for her that she’s conquering cancer. And she looks absolutly beautiful. Good Luck on her full recovery.

I don’t think many people can pull off a leopard-print anything, but Klyie does with aplomb. (Though I like the more staid dark-on-dark outfit on the left.) Also, great haircut.

honestly i hate her sense of style. also..ditch the hair cut

Uh, Martha. Her hair is that short because she had chemo. How about a little sensitivity? I think it looks adorable on her whatever the reason.

Kylie is gorgeous, talented and has a super unique sense of style. I’ve been a fan of hers since I was a little girl.
Now, I truly admire her courage and strength through battling her disease and I know that she will rise above it all and continue to be the fabulous entertainer that she is!

I love this posting because Kylie is not only lovely to look at, but inspirational as well. Hope you feature more of this celebrity in the days to come!

Hey Holly, lets see you get cancer, take chemo, so that it makes you sick and puke everyday, all your hair fall out and then have the courage to show your face not only in public but splashed accross magazines all over the globe.
People like you make me sick.
It’s kind of hard to make naturally curly hair look good when it’s a few inches long but she’s done a heck of a job….

Hey JoJo,
I’m sure you meant Martha! not Holly….
