Which Denim Looks Are Over?

10/11/2006 at 02:19 PM ET

Jeans are a classic, all-American staple, so they should be pretty tough to screw up, right? Wrong, as we discovered in our Denim Looks to Lose Gallery. From Tara Reid’s too-low two-tones (left) to Kelly Clarkson‘s mysterious zippers (hidden thigh pockets?), there are plenty of denim looks to lose. Fall’s hottest jeans are darker, slimmer, and sleeker than ever before. Tell us: What denim looks do you think are totally over? What are you sick of seeing?

someone made a comment she looks like she’s having a hard time walking but the truth for me is if i had all those reporters snapping shots at me i’d want to make sure i didn’t fall flat on my face either

don’t want to hurt anybodys feelings, but those pants are by far the ugliest pants i have ever seen. they arent even childlike, cause i wouldn’t let my child wear them……..

Those pants are hideous, I think Tara is trying to revive the mid or late seventies denim. I think my father had a pair of jeans just like those.
What next polyester leisure suits.

If somebody looks GOOD in an article of clothing, why not adorn her body?

If a woman looks GOOD in an article of clothing, why should she not just adorn her body? There are too many overweight women in the USA; I personally like the way this person looks and admire her for her ability to maintain a certain weight.
