Hot Shops: Milk

08/30/2006 at 06:25 PM ET

Q: Where can you find Kirsten Dunst, Rachel Bilson, and Zooey Deschanel all hanging out in LA?
A: Milk, a hot new boutique founded by pals Bari Milken and Marni Flans, that is frequented by all of the best-dressed young Hollywood stars. And for a very good reason! Buyer Ilaria Urbinati has packed the store with some of the coolest young designers in the world, including her sister Giulia Persanti‘s line, already snagged by Mischa Barton. If you can’t make it in to see what Mandy Moore or Molly Sims are buying this week, you can check out the latest styles from your home at their great website. You can snag a pair of Raven jeans like Renee Zellweger did recently, or follow Nicky Hilton’s lead and grab a dress by Stretsis (a Milk exclusive). So now the only question is. . .Got Milk?

i would never go to a store where rachel bilson, zooey dechannel, and kirsten dunst shop, why, because has anybody
noticed how ugly and tacky thoose girls dress!

(note to self:never follow their trends!)

I totally disagree! I shop at Milk and it is a one stop shop! I have never been to a store that has everything I need and then some! If Rachel Bilson and Kirsten Dunst lack style I take it Hali must shop at Kitson. I heard they are having a sale on Von Dutch!

Milk is a fantastic store, and I absolutely love shopping there! I highly recommend it too.

I live in New York and every time I visit LA the first store I go to is MILK! I get my fix though through their online store..they have everything they have in their store.

I agree — it’s a great store, and lacks the pretensions and snootiness of most Hollywood-frequented shops (Kitson, I’m talking to you.) Plus, they have probably the best sale in the city. Last time I went, I manage to snag several Sretsis items (cutest stuff ever) for 75% off.

I shop all around the world and milk is so different than other la stores. it’s very well edited.
to the person who does not like that celeb style or can see the details and appreciate them, you really don’t know a think about fashion.
If you have ever been to the store you would see that they have a ton of NY labels and Euro labels that more than celebrities where.

I’ve never been to MILK, but I think it sounds fantastic! Personally, I think it’s cool to shop at these up-and-coming boutiques where the owner (and/or buyer) has great taste and likes to spotlight talented new designers!
